
About Sukuki Exnora
Sukuki Exnora is a non-governmental organisation started in 1999 by likeminded people drawn from diverse fields. We are involved in various environmental activities in general and municipal solid waste management in particular. We have been associated with various municipalities, industries and communities.
Sukuki Exnora has a strong commitment to society towards the improvement in quality of life. Main areas of activities are solid waste management, rehabilitation of ragpickers and communities engaged in sanitation activities.
Sukuki Exnora provides technical competence, professional management and quality services in collection of waste, segregation and composting services including providing training inputs to municipalities, industrial units and NGO’s. We are affiliated with Exnora International and share a good rapport with Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad.

In partnership with APPCB and TSPCB, Sukuki Exnora conducted environment awareness programmes in several colleges.
Sukuki Exnora has been observing environmentally significant days like World Environment Day, Earth Hour, Earth Day, Wetlands Day in order to create awareness on environment issues of energy conservation, waste management, water management etc.
Sukuki Exnora organised India’s first ever conference on Solid Waste Management “Clean India” from 2007-2016 as also “Green Leaf Awards” for Excellence in Solid Waste Management.

Projects
HCIP, HMDA (Hussainsagar Lake Catchment Improvement Project)
Sukuki Exnora is associated with Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) in the Hussain Sagar Lake Catchment Area Improvement Project Cluster-III which envisages identification of problem areas in and around Hussain Sagar area, primarily covering aspects of:
a) Solid waste management
b) Community toilets & health & sanitation / sewerage aspects
C) Public awareness
Subram (Zero Waste Management) Centres
Subram (Zero Waste Management) Center was set up at BS Makhta, Hyderabad with the support of GHMC and EPTRI. The centre mainly facilitates material recovery. About 10 Subraks are working at this centre covering about 3000 households.It handles about 10 tonnes of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) every day.
Cuddapah Municipality
Sukuki Exnora implemented Zero Waste Management in Cuddapah Municipal Corporation involving primary waste collection, segregation, composting and recycling of solid waste. Subram Centres were set up in Cuddapah, Andhra Pradesh with the support of Cuddapah Municipal Corporation.
HCU - Hyderabad Central University
Subram centre was established at HCU. Project – Source reduction, vermicomposting and recycling. About 10 employees are working at this centre covering the hostel, canteen, administration blocks, 300 staff quarters, 10 messes and university buildings.


Vishakhapatnam Municipality
Subram Centre was set up by Sukuki Exnora in Vishakhapatnam city with the support of Vishakhapatnam Municipal Corporation.
